Pharmacist in Charge in Jefferson City, MO

An opportunity is available for an Interim Pharmacist in Charge to support an inpatient behavioral health facility in St Charles, MO. This contract position is expected to last approximately 4 weeks, providing crucial leadership until a permanent hire is made. The role operates Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm with a 30-minute unpaid meal break.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as the Pharmacist in Charge for the facility, overseeing pharmacy operations.
• Manage medication repackaging utilizing systems such as Milt, Medi-dose, or HCL.
• Assist in loading medications into automated dispensing machines like Omnicell.
• Generate and analyze restock reports to ensure optimal medication inventory.
• Ensure compliance with state regulations and facility policies.

Qualifications / Desired Experience:

• Active Missouri Pharmacist license.
• Experience with Omnicell automated dispensing systems preferred.
• Knowledge of medication repackaging techniques and equipment (Milt, Medi-dose, HCL).
• Familiarity with automated medication machines and inventory management.
• Strong organizational and leadership skills.
