Lead a specialized compounding pharmacy team focused on animal health in a dynamic, onsite role based in Bakersfield, CA. This full-time Pharmacy Supervisor position offers the chance to manage daily pharmacy operations, uphold stringent quality and safety standards, and enhance compounding practices within an established animal health compounding pharmacy.

Location:

  • Bakersfield, CA
  • Onsite

Schedule:

  • Monday – Friday
  • 8:15 AM – 5:15 PM

Responsibilities:

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of pharmacists to meet productivity and quality goals
  • Oversee and support daily compounding operations ensuring workflow efficiency
  • Ensure strict compliance with USP <795>, <797>, and <800> standards as well as state and federal regulations
  • Maintain accurate training documentation and enforce proper compounding procedures
  • Assist with drug selection related to dispensing and compounded products
  • Identify opportunities for process and formulation improvements
  • Collaborate effectively with pharmacy leadership and cross-functional teams
  • Uphold confidentiality and company policies in all pharmacy activities

Qualifications:

  • Active California Pharmacist license in good standing
  • BS Pharmacy or PharmD from an accredited institution
  • Minimum 2 years managing pharmacy laboratory teams
  • 2 to 5 years of compounding pharmacy experience
  • Thorough knowledge of USP <795>, <797>, <800>, State Board regulations, and 503A guidelines
  • Demonstrated leadership, communication, and mentoring abilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications

Benefits:

  • Competitive base salary range of $160,000–$185,000, plus bonus opportunities

This opportunity offers rewarding leadership within a specialized pharmacy setting. Candidates must be able to operate onsite in Bakersfield with a Monday–Friday schedule. Contract employment available.
