An experienced Pharmacist-In-Charge (PIC) with a strong background in HIV/AIDS medications is needed to oversee pharmacy operations and serve as the clinical pharmacist leader in a dynamic specialty pharmacy setting. This direct hire opportunity is based in Las Vegas, NV, with work hours Monday and Wednesday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., and Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. The ideal candidate will bring 3-5 years of retail or specialty pharmacy management experience, with a preference for those who have 10 years or more.
Responsibilities include managing pharmacy operations in compliance with regulatory requirements, cultivating a collaborative team environment, and driving innovative clinical services that enhance patient care. As PIC, you will promote core values and mission-driven care, ensuring consistency in policies and procedures across locations. You will also attend organizational meetings, training sessions, and conferences to stay connected and advance pharmacy practices.
Desired Experience and Qualifications:
- Minimum 3-5 years retail/specialty pharmacy management experience (10+ years preferred)
- Strong foundational knowledge of HIV/AIDS medications; additional training provided to deepen expertise
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Ability to engage effectively with diverse cultures and patient populations
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, multifaceted environment
- Experience outside of hospital pharmacy settings is required
