An experienced Pharmacist-In-Charge (PIC) with a specialized focus in HIV/AIDS medications is needed to oversee pharmacy operations and clinical services in a dynamic setting. This direct hire position requires a candidate with a strong foundation in HIV/AIDS pharmacotherapy and a minimum of 3-5 years of retail or specialty pharmacy management experience. The role supports the Board of Pharmacy's requirements and demands a leader who thrives in collaborative, fast-paced environments dedicated to providing exceptional patient care.

Location:

  • Las Vegas, NV

Schedule:

  • Monday, Wednesday through Friday: 8:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.
  • Tuesday: 10:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the Pharmacist-In-Charge, ensuring compliance with all pharmacy regulations.
  • Lead and innovate pharmacy services to enhance patient outcomes.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and staff across multiple locations to establish best practices and maintain consistent policies.
  • Promote the pharmacy’s mission and core values while managing a multi-leadership organizational structure.
  • Participate in internal and external meetings, including conferences and training sessions.
  • Foster a work environment that supports diverse cultures and lifestyles, ensuring a positive patient and employee experience.
  • Adapt quickly to changing environments and support initiatives that enhance clinical and operational excellence.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of retail or specialty pharmacy management/PIC experience; 10 years preferred.
  • Strong background in HIV/AIDS medication therapy with willingness to further develop expertise.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a busy, multicultural environment.
  • Experience in hospital-only settings will not be considered.
