An opportunity is available for an experienced Pharmacist-In-Charge (PIC) with a specialty focus in HIV/AIDS medications to lead and innovate pharmacy operations within a dynamic clinical environment. This direct hire role requires a passionate professional ready to make a significant impact on vulnerable patient populations by improving and developing cutting-edge pharmacy services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of pharmacy operations as Pharmacist-In-Charge, ensuring compliance with Board of Pharmacy requirements and maintaining the highest standards of service.
- Actively contribute as a clinical pharmacist, driving initiatives that enhance patient care and pharmacy services.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to share knowledge, train staff, and network in order to strengthen clinical practices.
- Maintain and promote the organization’s Core Values and Mission through all activities.
- Adapt swiftly to a fast-paced and evolving environment, guaranteeing a positive experience for both patients and colleagues.
- Manage and guide a collaborative staff structure with accountability distributed across multiple leaders.
- Participate in internal and external meetings, conferences, and training to stay current and share best practices.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Minimum 3-5 years of retail or specialty pharmacy management experience, with a preference for 10+ years.
- Proven expertise in HIV/AIDS medication management; a strong foundation is required with a willingness to enhance specialty knowledge through training.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Experience working effectively with diverse cultures and lifestyles.
- Ability to excel in a busy, fast-paced environment.
- Experience exclusively in hospital settings is not applicable.
Schedule:
- Monday, Wednesday-Friday: 8:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.
- Tuesday: 10:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.
