An opportunity exists for a Pharmacist-In-Charge (PIC) specializing in HIV/AIDS pharmacy services, located in Las Vegas, NV. This direct hire role begins ASAP, supporting pharmacy operations aligned with Board of Pharmacy requirements. The role offers a dynamic, collaborative environment focused on the development and implementation of innovative clinical services that enhance patient outcomes.
Schedule:
- Monday, Wednesday to Friday: 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM
- Tuesday: 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM
Responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee pharmacy operations as PIC, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with team members to promote a culture of continuous improvement, sharing best practices and knowledge across locations.
- Drive adoption of core organizational values and mission in daily activities.
- Maintain agility in a dynamic environment to optimize patient care and workplace experience.
- Support a collaborative organizational structure with multiple leadership accountability.
- Represent the pharmacy at various internal and external meetings, training sessions, and conferences.
Qualifications/Desired Experience:
- Minimum 3-5 years of recent retail or specialty pharmacy management experience; 10 years preferred.
- Strong foundation in HIV/AIDS medications with willingness to enhance expertise.
- Proven leadership and communication skills.
- Experience working effectively with diverse cultures and lifestyles.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting.
- Previous hospital-only experience is not suitable.
