An opportunity is available for a Pharmacist-In-Charge (PIC) with a specialty focus in HIV/AIDS medications. This role demands a motivated leader with a strong foundation in HIV/AIDS pharmacotherapy and a background in retail or specialty pharmacy management. The position is direct hire with a start date as soon as possible.

Location: Las Vegas, NV
Schedule:

  • Monday, Wednesday, Friday: 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM
  • Tuesday: 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee pharmacy operations as the accredited Pharmacist-In-Charge, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and organizational policies.
  • Lead clinical pharmacy services in an innovative setting dedicated to developing and implementing cutting-edge processes to improve patient care outcomes.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance clinical services and foster a culture of knowledge sharing, training, and continuous professional development.
  • Champion the pharmacy’s core values and mission while adapting to a dynamic environment to support both patient experience and employee engagement.
  • Promote organizational accountability through effective leadership and consistent application of best practices across all pharmacy locations.
  • Participate in internal and external meetings, such as conferences and training sessions, to stay current with emerging trends and standards.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years of recent retail or specialty pharmacy management experience, with a preference for candidates possessing up to 10 years of leadership.
  • Strong foundational knowledge of HIV/AIDS medications; willingness to further develop expertise through provided training.
  • Exceptional communication and leadership capabilities, with the ability to work effectively across diverse cultural backgrounds and populations.
  • Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multi-faceted work environment.
  • Experience exclusively in hospital settings will not meet the requirements.
