A full-time Pharmacy Supervisor position is available in an animal health compounding pharmacy setting located in Bakersfield, CA. The role involves leading and managing a team of pharmacists focused on producing high-quality compounded preparations specifically for animal health applications.

Schedule/Hours:

  • Monday–Friday
  • 8:15 AM–5:15 PM
  • Onsite

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of pharmacists to meet productivity and quality expectations
  • Oversee daily compounding operations and workflow in the pharmacy lab
  • Ensure compliance with USP <795>, <797>, and <800> standards as well as state and federal regulations
  • Maintain accurate training records and ensure proper compounding procedures are followed
  • Assist with drug selection for dispensing and compounded formulations
  • Recommend process and formulation improvements to drive continuous improvement
  • Collaborate effectively with pharmacy leadership and other departments
  • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to company policies

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Current California Pharmacist license in good standing
  • BS in Pharmacy or PharmD from an accredited school of pharmacy
  • Minimum of 2 years’ management experience in a pharmacy lab setting
  • 2–5 years of compounding experience with strong knowledge of USP <795>, <797>, <800>, State Board regulations, and 503A requirements
  • Proven leadership, communication, and mentoring skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications

This opportunity offers a competitive base salary with bonus eligibility and benefits for qualified candidates. The role is full-time and requires onsite presence in Bakersfield, CA. This is a contract position.
