Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) - Magalia, California

An Interim Pharmacist In Charge position is available with an immediate start in Magalia, CA, ideal for a licensed pharmacist with at least two years of recent retail pharmacy experience. This contract role spans approximately 12-13 weeks, providing an excellent opportunity to lead pharmacy operations in a dynamic setting.

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday: 9:00 AM – 8:00 PM
• Saturday and Sunday: 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage full-cycle prescription processing and dispensing, including communication with healthcare providers, insurers, and patients.
• Supervise and manage pharmacy technicians to ensure smooth pharmacy operations.
• Oversee opening and closing procedures for the pharmacy.
• Complete necessary Pharmacist In Charge (PIC) paperwork and documentation.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Must possess a valid California Pharmacist license.
• Minimum two years of recent retail pharmacy experience, with a strong preference for previous PIC experience.
• Certification in immunization administration required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification mandatory.
• Proficiency with McKesson Enterprise (ERx) pharmacy systems is essential.
• Willingness to assume full PIC responsibilities.
