An Opioid Treatment Center in Alexandria, Louisiana is seeking a dedicated Pharmacist in Charge for a part-time contract role with potential for extension or permanent hire. Schedule:

• Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday
• 5:00 AM – 10:00 AM (20 hours per week)

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as Pharmacist in Charge, managing pharmacy operations and ensuring regulatory compliance
• Perform thorough chart reviews and maintain precise documentation
• Verify prescriptions accurately and fill prescriptions when technician support is unavailable
• Complete internal reports and forms using Microsoft Excel
• Work independently with limited patient interaction unless specifically requested
• Adhere to state and federal pharmacy regulations; no billing or insurance duties involved

Desired Qualifications:

• Active Louisiana Pharmacist license in good standing with no negative disciplinary history
• 3–5 years of pharmacy experience; experience in substance abuse or opioid treatment preferred
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Ability to operate effectively and independently within a team-oriented healthcare setting
