This opportunity is for a Pharmacist in Charge role based in McKinney, TX, offering a part-time position for a 13-week assignment starting as soon as possible. The position primarily involves verifying prescriptions and managing inbound calls from patients and physician offices concerning medications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Verify prescriptions accurately in a high-volume pharmacy setting with 1,000 to 1,500 prescriptions processed daily.
• Respond to inbound calls from patients and healthcare providers regarding medication inquiries.
• Support pharmacy operations by ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and maintaining quality control.
• Utilize DRx software to manage daily pharmacy workflows efficiently.

Desired Qualifications and Experience:

• Current pharmacist license in Texas and Alabama is required.
• Licenses in Nevada, Oregon, Tennessee, and Oklahoma are also accepted.
• Additional licenses in Michigan, Massachusetts, Maryland, Louisiana, Mississippi, West Virginia, Kansas, Kentucky, and Nebraska are considered a plus.
• Experience working in high-volume retail or mail-order pharmacy environments.
• Strong communication skills to engage effectively with patients and healthcare professionals.
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including days or mid shifts, with a commitment of approximately 20 hours per week.
