This opportunity is for a Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) role at a rapidly growing, independently owned non-sterile compounding pharmacy specializing in dermatology, hormone replacement therapy, hair restoration, wellness, and weight management. The position supports regulatory compliance and expands telemedicine fulfillment services nationwide.

Location: Tempe, AZ (on-site)
Type: Contract to Hire
Schedule:

  • Monday–Friday
  • 7:00 AM–4:00 PM or 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
    Remote Flexibility: Possible limited remote hours per week
    Start: ASAP
    Duration: 13 weeks

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as Pharmacist in Charge with full regulatory oversight and ensure compliance with USP and state Board of Pharmacy regulations (California and Arizona)
  • Perform final verification for non-sterile compounded prescriptions
  • Review and approve compounding formulas, batch records, and quality documentation
  • Collaborate with the pharmacy team and existing PIC to maintain smooth daily operations

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Active California Pharmacist License (mandatory)
  • Arizona Pharmacist License preferred, or willingness to obtain
  • Proven experience in non-sterile compounding pharmacy practice
  • Prior experience as a Pharmacist in Charge or readiness to assume this key leadership role
  • Ability to work onsite in Tempe, AZ throughout the workweek
