This direct hire opportunity is for a Pharmacist-in-Charge (PIC) at a growing non-sterile compounding mail-order pharmacy. The position is based in Mesa, AZ, with a focus on providing hands-on leadership in dispensing, patient counseling, pharmacy operations, and maintaining regulatory compliance. The role supports expanding national coverage, ideally with a candidate licensed on the West Coast.

Location: Mesa, AZ
Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
  • Possible weekend coverage as growth continues

Key Responsibilities:

  • Dispense prescriptions accurately and provide patient counseling
  • Supervise pharmacy staff while maintaining SOP, USP, and FDA 503A compliance
  • Manage inventory, controlled substances, and documentation requirements
  • Handle patient inquiries and ensure high-quality customer service
  • Maintain compliance with state and federal regulations across serviced states

Qualifications / Desired Experience:

  • Pharmacist licensed in Arizona or New Jersey (corresponding to work location)
  • 3–5 years of pharmacy experience, preferably in mail-order, outpatient, community, or compounding settings
  • Demonstrated capability to operate effectively as a working PIC
  • Strong knowledge of 503A pharmacy regulations
  • West Coast licenses (e.g., CA, NM, TX, NV, UT, OR, WA, CO) highly preferred to support national expansion
  • Prior PIC or pharmacy management experience a plus
  • Experience with PioneerRx preferred (training available)
  • Local candidates in Mesa, Gilbert, or surrounding areas strongly preferred
