Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) | Mesa, Arizona

This opportunity calls for a licensed Pharmacist in Charge to lead pharmacy operations in Mesa, AZ. The role involves direct hire placement in a dynamic setting focused on compliance and patient care within a 503A facility.

Key Responsibilities:

• Dispense prescriptions accurately and provide expert patient counseling.
• Oversee pharmacy staff while ensuring strict adherence to SOPs, USP <795>/<800>, and FDA 503A guidelines.
• Manage inventory control, including controlled substances, and maintain all required documentation.
• Address patient inquiries efficiently, upholding excellent customer service standards.
• Ensure consistent regulatory compliance across multi-state operations.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Pharmacist licensed in Arizona or New Jersey, corresponding to your work location.
• 3 to 5 years of comprehensive pharmacy experience.
• Strong preference for backgrounds in mail-order, outpatient, community, or compounding pharmacy settings.
• Comfort and proven ability working in a Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) capacity.
• Thorough knowledge of applicable state and federal regulations for a 503A facility.
• West Coast licenses (CA, NM, TX, NV, UT, OR, WA, CO) are highly preferred as candidates from these states are prioritized.
• Previous PIC or pharmacy management experience is advantageous.
• Experience with PioneerRx preferred, though training is available.
• Candidates local to Gilbert, AZ, or West Egg Township/Galloway, NJ will be prioritized; relocation assistance is not available.

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• Potential weekend coverage as the pharmacy expands.
