Step into a pivotal leadership role overseeing the launch of a newly built sterile compounding operation for a growing pharmacy affiliate of a national telehealth pharmacy company. This part-time position is based in Doral, FL, offering approximately 20 hours per week with operational hours Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. The opportunity is ideal for a pharmacist-in-charge (PIC) with strong regulatory knowledge and an interest in compounding pharmacy workflows.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as Pharmacist-in-Charge with name on pharmacy license, ensuring full accountability
  • Provide regulatory oversight and enforce compliance with state and federal pharmacy laws
  • Support daily operations and workflow during the sterile compounding launch phase
  • Review and update pharmacy policies, procedures, and quality standards
  • Collaborate closely with the incoming Director of Pharmacy Operations
  • Provide pharmacist coverage as needed during operating hours

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Active Florida Pharmacist License required; preference for multi-state licensure (especially AK, IL, IA, KS, MI, NE, VA, TX, KY, WV)
  • Prior experience as a PIC or Pharmacy Manager with comfort holding full PIC responsibility
  • Strong knowledge of pharmacy compliance and operational best practices
  • Experience or willingness to train in sterile or non-sterile compounding preferred
  • Background in pharmacy startups or retail pharmacy experience is a plus

Location & Schedule:

  • Doral, FL (Miami area)
  • Part-time; ~20 hours/week
  • Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM
