Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) | New Boston, Texas

This opportunity is ideal for an experienced Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) licensed in both Texas and California, ready to lead and manage daily operations in a specialty home infusion pharmacy setting. Located in New Boston, TX, this contract role offers an engaging environment focused on delivering specialized infusion services to patients in their homes.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as the Pharmacist in Charge, overseeing pharmacy operations to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
• Manage and coordinate specialty infusion pharmacy activities, including quality assurance and staff supervision.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers and patients to optimize medication therapy and adherence.
• Ensure proper handling, storage, and dispensing of specialty home infusion products.

Qualifications:

• Current licensure as a Pharmacist in both Texas and California is mandatory.
• Demonstrated experience as a Pharmacist in Charge within a specialty pharmacy, home infusion, or specialty infusion environment.
• Strong knowledge of state and federal pharmacy laws and regulations.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills to effectively manage pharmacy staff and interact with healthcare teams.

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday
• Day shifts, 8-hour duration
