This opportunity is for an experienced Pharmacist in Charge to oversee operations at a specialty home infusion pharmacy. The position requires an individual licensed in both Texas and California to ensure compliance and quality patient care within a specialized infusion environment. This contract role is based in New Boston, TX, offering an 8-week assignment with the possibility of extension.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership and oversight as the Pharmacist in Charge, ensuring all pharmacy operations meet regulatory standards.
- Manage specialty home infusion pharmacy activities, including medication preparation, dispensing, and patient counseling.
- Ensure compliance with all state pharmacy laws and regulations in Texas and California.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes in the specialty infusion setting.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to pharmacy operations and patient care.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid pharmacist licenses in both Texas and California are mandatory.
- Previous experience serving as a Pharmacist in Charge.
- Background in home infusion, specialty infusion, or specialty pharmacy practice.
- Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements for specialty infusion pharmacies.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
Schedule:
- Monday through Friday
- Day shifts, 8 hours per day
