A home infusion pharmacy with a nationwide presence is seeking a dedicated Lead/Pharmacist in Charge for their New Castle, DE location. This direct hire role offers an opportunity to apply your expertise in managing complex specialty and infusion therapies while playing a key role in patient care coordination and pharmacy operations.

Location: New Castle, DE
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:30 AM – 6:00 PM
Type: Direct Hire

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide specialized clinical support by managing specialty and infusion therapies and offering critical drug information to patients and healthcare providers.
  • Oversee or directly perform compounding and dispensing of complex medications, ensuring accuracy and safety in preparation.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and insurance representatives to facilitate effective medication delivery and administration in the home infusion setting.
  • Educate patients on medication administration techniques, timing, potential side effects, and adherence to therapy protocols.
  • Maintain compliance with all state and federal pharmacy regulations, ensuring accurate record-keeping and a safe, compliant pharmacy environment.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Licensed Pharmacist in Delaware (additional state licenses will be required; client covers licensure fees).
  • Minimum 2-3 years of infusion pharmacy experience.
  • Prior experience as Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) or in a managerial role within an infusion pharmacy is strongly preferred.
  • Familiarity with CareTend pharmacy system is a plus.
