Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) | New Castle, Delaware

A specialty home infusion pharmacy is seeking a Lead Pharmacist in Charge to work on-site at their New Castle, DE location. This direct hire role offers the opportunity to manage complex and specialized infusion therapies within a patient-focused setting.

Key responsibilities include providing clinical support by managing specialty therapies, compounding and dispensing complex medications, coordinating medication delivery with healthcare providers and insurers, and educating patients on proper medication use and infusion techniques. The role also requires strict adherence to state and federal pharmacy regulations, maintaining compliance, and ensuring patient safety throughout all operations.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Licensed Pharmacist in Delaware; willingness to obtain additional state licenses as required (licensure fees covered by employer)
• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in infusion pharmacy
• Prior Pharmacist in Charge or management experience within an infusion setting strongly preferred
• Familiarity with CareTend pharmacy system is a plus

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
