This opportunity is for an experienced Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) to provide interim leadership within a 340b pharmacy setting. The role involves stepping in promptly to manage PIC duties in the event of a resignation, ensuring continued compliance and operational excellence.
Location: Onsite positions available in California and New York (details being finalized)
Job Type: Contract (3-6 months)
Schedule: Day and afternoon shifts
Responsibilities:
- Oversee all pharmacy operations in compliance with regulatory requirements
- Manage staff and workflow to maintain high-quality pharmaceutical services
- Ensure accurate record-keeping and reporting aligned with 340b program standards
- Serve as the primary contact for audits, inspections, and pharmacy compliance matters
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to optimize patient care
Qualifications:
- Active pharmacist licenses in multiple states; priority given to candidates licensed in AK, AL, AR, CA, IA, ID, IL, KS, KY, LA, MA, MD, MI, MS, NE, NV, OK, OR, TN, TX, VA, and WV
- Proven experience as a Pharmacist in Charge, preferably in 340b pharmacy programs
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage teams and complex workflows
- Excellent knowledge of pharmacy laws, regulations, and 340b program requirements
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and communication skills
