Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) | Newark, New Jersey

This role offers a key leadership opportunity to oversee pharmacy operations and regulatory compliance across multiple states from a base in Newark, NJ. The position focuses on ensuring consistent, high-quality pharmacy services while maintaining adherence to all relevant state board of pharmacy rules, DEA regulations, and multi-state dispensing requirements.

Key responsibilities include managing order reviews and dispensing processes, developing and enforcing operational policies, and providing clinical oversight for enteral nutrition therapy and drug utilization review. The role also involves close collaboration with clinical, operations, reimbursement, HR, and compliance teams to maintain superior service standards and regulatory compliance. Maintaining all necessary documentation to support licensing, accreditation, and audits is essential.

Qualifications and desired experience for this position include:

• PharmD or BS in Pharmacy from an ACPE-accredited institution
• Active, unrestricted pharmacist license in New Jersey
• Ability to obtain pharmacist licensure in Tennessee, New York, and Massachusetts within six months
