Lead pharmacy operations as the Pharmacist-in-Charge (PIC) at a 503A Compounding Pharmacy, overseeing all aspects of prescription fulfillment and sterile/non-sterile compounding processes with a focus on compliance and quality. This role requires full regulatory accountability under state, federal, FDA 503A, and USP standards, ensuring safe and efficient pharmacy operations.

Term: 13 Weeks Contract to Potential Hire
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday: 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM
- Flexible Saturdays if needed
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the legally designated PIC for all relevant non-resident state pharmacy licenses.
- Act as the primary liaison for Boards of Pharmacy, inspectors, auditors, and regulatory agencies.
- Manage timely reporting of operational, ownership, facility, and PIC changes.
- Oversee sterile and non-sterile compounding operations, ensuring adherence to quality and regulatory standards.
- Lead and supervise pharmacists, supervisors, technicians, and production staff.
- Oversee batch record creation, execution, review, and approval processes.
- Support production planning to maintain on-time delivery, inventory accuracy, and capacity utilization.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Active Pennsylvania Pharmacist License.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Pharmacist-in-Charge or Pharmacy Manager.
- Thorough knowledge of USP <795>, <797>, <800>, and applicable 503A compounding regulations.
- Proven experience managing audits and regulatory inspections with a strong compliance record.
