Pharmacist in Charge - Norristown, PA

This role offers an opportunity to serve as the lead pharmacist overseeing pharmacy operations at a 10-bed inpatient micro-hospital and emergency department. The position requires a licensed pharmacist in Pennsylvania with inpatient experience and the ability to assume full Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) responsibilities.

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• Day shift

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the Pharmacist in Charge, managing all pharmacy operations independently
• Conduct audits and ensure compliance with regulatory standards
• Maintain medication inventory and restocking processes
• Manage order entry using Cerner system
• Oversee automated dispensing via Omnicell
• Provide on-call coverage with minimal likelihood of calls
• Collaborate remotely with local PIC and Pharmacy Director for training and support

Required Qualifications:

• Current Pennsylvania pharmacist license
• Proven inpatient pharmacy experience, preferably with hospital setting
• Strong knowledge of hospital pharmacy operations, including regulatory compliance
• Ability to operate independently as sole pharmacist without onsite technician support
• Familiarity with Cerner order entry system and Omnicell automation preferred

• 10-bed emergency department and 10-bed inpatient micro-hospital
