This direct hire opportunity is seeking a Pharmacist-In-Charge (PIC) with specialty expertise in HIV/AIDS medications to lead pharmacy operations in a dynamic setting. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of retail or specialty pharmacy management experience and a strong foundation in HIV/AIDS drug therapies, with additional training provided to deepen expertise. This role requires a dedicated clinical pharmacist who thrives in an innovative environment focused on improving patient care through new systems and processes.
Location: North Las Vegas, NV
Schedule:
- Monday, Wednesday, Friday: 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM
- Tuesday: 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the Pharmacist-In-Charge, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and pharmacy standards.
- Provide leadership to promote a collaborative organizational culture with shared accountability.
- Drive implementation of best practices, consistent policies, and innovative clinical services across locations.
- Represent the pharmacy team in internal and external meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities.
- Uphold and promote the pharmacy's core values and mission to enhance patient and employee experiences in a rapidly evolving environment.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Minimum 3-5 years managing retail or specialty pharmacy settings; 10+ years strongly preferred.
- Strong understanding of HIV/AIDS medications; willingness to advance clinical expertise.
- Demonstrated leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across diverse cultures and populations.
- Ability to perform in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Experience specifically with retail/community pharmacy is required; hospital-only background is not suitable.
