Pharmacist in Charge in North Las Vegas, NV

Lead the operations of a newly established specialty pharmacy focusing on compounding and niche medication therapies within a dynamic healthcare environment. This permanent Pharmacist-in-Charge role offers a unique opportunity to shape the future of a growing pharmacy dedicated to GLP-1 therapies, allergy medications, and immunotherapies.

Location: North Las Vegas, NV
Schedule:

• Monday to Friday, day shifts

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the designated Pharmacist-in-Charge ensuring full regulatory compliance with USP <797>, <800>, FDA, and state pharmacy board standards
• Oversee all sterile compounding processes, managing workflow, personnel, and quality assurance programs
• Maintain adherence to multi-state pharmacy regulations, particularly in Nevada and California
• Develop, maintain, and enforce Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for sterile compounding
• Recruit, supervise, and train pharmacists and pharmacy technicians to build a competent team
• Manage pharmacy inspections, audits, and liaise with regulatory agencies
• Oversee environmental monitoring, validation, and necessary documentation to ensure product safety and compliance
• Ensure proper handling, storage, and dispensing of all compounded sterile preparations
• Collaborate closely with leadership to drive operational strategies, business expansion, and licensing initiatives
• Maintain accurate records and ensure the pharmacy is always inspection-ready

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

• Active Nevada pharmacist license required; California license highly desirable due to cross-state business
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in hospital, infusion, or specialty pharmacy settings
• Strong knowledge of sterile compounding regulations and practices
• Proven leadership ability with excellent interpersonal and team-building skills
• Willingness and ability to pursue additional state licenses as the business expands
• Resident of Las Vegas or willing to relocate for this direct hire opportunity
