An experienced Pharmacist-In-Charge (PIC) with a strong foundation in HIV/AIDS medications is needed to lead pharmacy operations in a forward-thinking specialty pharmacy setting. The PIC will play a critical leadership role in ensuring the highest standards of clinical services and operational excellence are consistently met across the organization.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee all pharmacy operations as the PIC, in compliance with Board of Pharmacy regulations.
- Serve as a clinical pharmacist driving the development and implementation of cutting-edge systems and services that enhance patient care.
- Collaborate with colleagues and team members to share best practices, provide training, and contribute to ongoing learning and networking within the organization.
- Uphold and promote core values and mission throughout daily activities to enrich patient and employee experiences.
- Adapt quickly within a dynamic environment to support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Manage a collaborative organizational structure with accountability across multiple leadership channels.
- Participate in internal and external meetings such as conferences and training to stay abreast of industry advancements.
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of recent specialty or retail pharmacy management experience required; 10+ years preferred.
- Demonstrated expertise in HIV/AIDS medications, with willingness to further specialize.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to work effectively with diverse cultures and lifestyles.
- Ability to maintain composure and productivity in a busy environment.
- Experience strictly in retail or specialty pharmacy; hospital-only experience is not suitable.
Location: Oakland, CA
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM
