This position offers a unique opportunity to serve as the Pharmacist-In-Charge (PIC) in an HIV/AIDS specialty pharmacy setting. The PIC oversees pharmacy operations in accordance with regulatory standards and takes a clinical leadership role focused on delivering innovative pharmaceutical care that improves patient outcomes. Working within a collaborative and agile team environment, the PIC will contribute to developing and standardizing best practices across multiple locations.

Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the official Pharmacist-In-Charge responsible for compliance with Board of Pharmacy regulations.
- Lead pharmacy operations while actively participating in clinical services and innovative process improvements tailored to HIV/AIDS patient care.
- Collaborate with colleagues to promote a culture of learning, training, and professional development.
- Maintain alignment with the organization’s core values and mission in all activities and decision-making.
- Adapt quickly within a dynamic work environment to enhance patient experiences and employee satisfaction.
- Oversee a matrix organizational structure, ensuring accountability and excellence among pharmacy staff.
- Represent the pharmacy at various external meetings, conferences, and trainings as required.
Desired Qualifications:
- Minimum 3-5 years of retail or specialty pharmacy management experience, with 10 years strongly preferred.
- Foundational knowledge of HIV/AIDS medications is essential; willingness to develop expertise further.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills capable of working with diverse populations and team members.
- Ability to thrive in a busy, fast-paced pharmacy environment.
- Experience limited to retail or specialty community pharmacy settings; hospital-only experience is not applicable.
