Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) - Orlando, Florida

An Interim Pharmacist in Charge is needed to manage a specialized retail pharmacy serving the HIV/AIDS community in Orlando, FL. This 16-week contract opportunity begins with a two-week training period alongside the current PIC, followed by full responsibility at a single-pharmacist site without a pharmacy technician.

Shift Schedule:

• Monday to Thursday | 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM
• Friday | 8:30 AM – 12:30 PM

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily pharmacy operations, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in dispensing 20-30 prescriptions per day.
• Provide exceptional patient care and support tailored to the HIV/AIDS population.
• Maintain clear and timely communication with patients and healthcare providers.
• Uphold a commitment to punctuality and professionalism every day.
• Utilize pharmacy software effectively; experience with QS1 is highly preferred.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Valid Florida pharmacist license.
• At least one year of retail pharmacy experience.
