Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) | Oroville, California

An interim Pharmacist In Charge position is available for an immediate start on a 12-13 week contract. The role requires full oversight and management of a retail pharmacy in Oroville, CA, with shifts aligned to the pharmacy’s operating hours.

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday: 9:00 AM – 8:00 PM
• Saturday and Sunday: 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee full-cycle prescription processing and dispensing.
• Communicate effectively with healthcare providers, insurance companies, and patients.
• Manage and supervise pharmacy technicians.
• Open and close the pharmacy according to protocols.
• Complete all required Pharmacist In Charge (PIC) paperwork and compliance tasks.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Minimum of 2 years of recent retail pharmacy experience.
• Prior experience as a PIC is highly preferred.
• Valid California pharmacist license.
• Immunization certification required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Proficiency with McKesson Enterprise (ERx) pharmacy system.
