Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) | Paradise, California

An interim Pharmacist In Charge opportunity is available for an immediate start in Paradise, CA. This contract position is ideal for a pharmacist with at least two years of recent retail pharmacy experience and ideally previous experience as a retail Pharmacist In Charge. The assignment is expected to last approximately 12 to 13 weeks.

Location: Paradise, CA
Schedule:

• Pharmacy hours 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM Monday through Friday
• 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM on Saturday and Sunday

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage full-cycle prescription processing and dispensing, including communication with healthcare providers, insurance companies, and patients
• Supervise and manage pharmacy technicians and daily pharmacy operations
• Perform opening and closing duties of the pharmacy
• Serve as the acting Pharmacist In Charge and complete all related documentation and compliance requirements

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Current California pharmacist license with immunization certification and BLS certification
• Minimum of 2 years’ recent retail pharmacy experience, with preference given to candidates having prior Pharmacist In Charge experience
• Proficient with McKesson Enterprise (ERx) pharmacy system
• Strong leadership and communication skills, detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple responsibilities effectively
