Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) | Paradise, California

An Interim Pharmacist in Charge role is available for an immediate start at a retail pharmacy in Paradise, CA. This contract assignment spans approximately 12 to 13 weeks, beginning Monday, June 22.

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM
• Saturday and Sunday, 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee full-cycle prescription processing and dispensing, including communication with healthcare providers, insurance companies, and patients.
• Manage and supervise pharmacy technicians to ensure efficient workflow and compliance.
• Open and close the pharmacy, ensuring all operations meet regulatory and company standards.
• Complete all required Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) paperwork and documentation.

Qualifications:

• California pharmacist license currently in hand.
• Minimum of 2 years recent experience in retail pharmacy practice.
• Prior experience as a Pharmacist in Charge preferred.
• Certified to administer immunizations and hold a current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Proficiency with McKesson Enterprise (ERx) pharmacy system.
