This opportunity is ideal for a seasoned Pharmacy-Pharmacist in Charge ready to lead and ensure excellence in a 503A compounding pharmacy setting. The role involves overseeing all sterile and non-sterile compounding operations while maintaining full regulatory compliance with state, federal, FDA 503A, and USP standards. You will direct daily operations, quality systems, personnel training, and facility readiness, serving as the key regulatory contact.

Schedule:
- Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM
- Flexible availability on Saturdays if required
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the legally designated Pharmacist in Charge for non-resident state pharmacy licenses
- Act as primary liaison for Boards of Pharmacy, inspectors, auditors, and regulatory agencies
- Ensure accurate reporting of operational, ownership, or facility changes
- Lead and supervise pharmacists, compounding supervisors, technicians, and production staff
- Oversee batch record creation, review, and approval to guarantee compliance and quality
- Collaborate on production scheduling to maintain timely delivery, inventory accuracy, and capacity planning
- Drive quality assurance initiatives and continuous improvement efforts
- Manage audits and regulatory inspections with thorough preparation and follow-up
Qualifications:
- Active Pennsylvania Pharmacist License
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience as Pharmacist in Charge or Pharmacy Manager
- Strong knowledge of USP <795>, <797>, <800>, and all relevant state/federal regulations governing 503A compounding
- Proven leadership skills and experience managing audits and inspections
