Mail Order Pharmacist in Charge in Racine, WI

A mail order pharmacy in the Milwaukee, WI area is seeking a dedicated Pharmacist in Charge (PIC)/Pharmacy Manager for a direct hire opportunity. This leadership role offers a Monday through Friday schedule and the chance to lead a skilled pharmacy team in a fast-paced, innovative environment.

Responsibilities include collaborating closely with the executive team to optimize operational efficiencies and boost production, managing a pharmacy staff comprising pharmacists and compounding/processing technicians, and owning the P&L to meet monthly output and financial goals. You will develop staffing plans alongside Finance and Operations leadership to support projected growth, drive process improvements with digital, supply chain, logistics, and care teams, and ensure regulatory compliance by working with the compliance team on state licensing requirements. Additionally, you'll collaborate with the development team to inform product feature enhancements and support Sales with training, documentation, and occasional clinic visits. While leading, you will also spend roughly half your time processing and reviewing medication orders, ensuring excellent service delivery and continuous improvement for clients.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Minimum 5 years as a practicing Pharmacist
• At least 3 years as a PIC managing pharmacists and technicians
• 2+ years experience in a compounding pharmacy setting
• Licensed Pharmacist in good standing with the Wisconsin State Board of Pharmacy
• Additional state pharmacy licenses considered a plus
• Familiarity with USP Chapter standards
• Formal training or equivalent experience in non-sterile compounding preferred
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to high accuracy and quality standards
• Collaborative mindset with the ability to thrive in a team-oriented, startup environment
