Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) - Redding, California

This opportunity is for an experienced Pharmacist in Charge to oversee a community center pharmacy on an interim basis. Starting as soon as possible, this full-time assignment offers the chance to lead pharmacy operations in a supportive environment with strong pharmacy technician assistance.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as the Pharmacist in Charge, ensuring smooth pharmacy operations and compliance with regulations
• Supervise and mentor pharmacy technicians to maintain high service standards
• Collaborate closely with healthcare providers at the community center to align pharmacy services with patient care needs
• Manage daily activities and workflow within the pharmacy
• Utilize the New Leaf system for pharmacy management; training will be provided for those new to the platform

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Recent retail pharmacy experience is essential to manage community pharmacy demands effectively
• Proven leadership skills in supervising pharmacy staff and managing operations
• Ability to adapt quickly and work efficiently within a multidisciplinary healthcare setting
• Willingness to learn and navigate the New Leaf system (training provided)

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM

• Redding, CA

This contract position runs for approximately 6 to 8 weeks or until a permanent placement is made, offering a focused and impactful leadership role during this interim period.
