Pharmacist in Charge in Redding, CA

A pharmacy leadership opportunity is available for a pharmacist ready to serve as Interim Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) at a community center pharmacy. This contract role begins ASAP with training scheduled for mid to late next week, transitioning to full-time hours starting June 29th. The assignment is expected to last 6-8 weeks or until a permanent placement is secured.

Location: Redding, CA
Schedule:

• Monday through Friday
• 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM

Responsibilities:

• Serve as Interim PIC, overseeing all pharmacy operations within a community center setting
• Supervise pharmacy technicians and collaborate closely with healthcare providers on-site
• Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements and ensure quality patient care
• Utilize New Leaf pharmacy system (training provided for those unfamiliar with the platform)

Desired Experience:

• Recent retail pharmacy experience preferred to ensure familiarity with patient interactions and workflow
• Proven ability to lead and manage pharmacy staff effectively
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach to working with medical providers
• Willingness to adapt to the specific community pharmacy environment
