Pharmacist in Charge - Redding, CA

An immediate full-time opening is available for a Pharmacist in Charge to lead a community center pharmacy on an interim basis. Starting ASAP with training scheduled mid to late next week, this role begins full time on 6/29 and lasts 6-8 weeks or until a permanent pharmacist is hired. This contract position provides a valuable opportunity to demonstrate leadership in a supportive environment.

Location: • Redding, CA

Schedule: • Monday to Friday • 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM

Key Responsibilities: • Serve as the Interim Pharmacist in Charge overseeing daily pharmacy operations at a community health center • Supervise and collaborate closely with pharmacy technicians to maintain efficient workflow • Work alongside healthcare providers within the center to ensure optimal medication use and patient care • Utilize the New Leaf system; training will be provided for those unfamiliar with it

Desired Experience: • Recent retail pharmacy experience is required to effectively manage patient and workflow demands • Strong leadership skills to oversee pharmacy technicians and collaborate with providers • Ability to adapt quickly and maintain high service standards in a community health setting
