Pharmacist in Charge in Reno, NV

This interim Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) opportunity provides an exciting chance to lead a well-established pharmacy team during a 6-8 week contract period. The position starts Monday, May 11, and is located in Reno, NV. The role requires a licensed pharmacist ready to assume full PIC responsibilities adhering to Nevada Board of Pharmacy regulations.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as the Interim Pharmacist in Charge, overseeing daily pharmacy operations
• Ensure compliance with state and federal pharmacy laws and regulations
• Lead and support an experienced technician team to maintain high standards of service and safety
• Maintain accurate records and documentation as required by the Nevada Board of Pharmacy
• Collaborate with store management to optimize pharmacy performance

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday, 10:00 AM to 6:30 PM
• Saturday, 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM

Qualifications/Desired Experience:

• Active pharmacist license in Nevada or eligibility to transfer license quickly
• Willingness and ability to officially take over PIC duties under the Nevada Board of Pharmacy
• Proven leadership and management experience within a retail pharmacy setting
• Strong knowledge of pharmacy laws, regulations, and best practices
• Ability to work collaboratively with pharmacy staff and store management
