IV Sterile Compounding Retail Pharmacist in Charge in Riverview, FL

This opportunity calls for an experienced Pharmacist in Charge to support a compounding pharmacy serving the Tampa, FL area. The role covers essential Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) responsibilities while the facility secures its California license. This contract position offers a chance to work in a specialized sterile compounding environment and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday
• 10:30 AM to 7:00 PM

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the Pharmacist in Charge, overseeing pharmacy operations and regulatory compliance
• Perform sterile compounding pharmacist duties, ensuring accuracy and safety in medication preparation
• Maintain documentation in accordance with pharmacy laws and company policies
• Collaborate with pharmacy staff to uphold high-quality standards

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Active Florida pharmacy license required
• California pharmacy license required to serve as Temporary PIC
• Minimum of 1 year recent experience in sterile compounding pharmacy practice preferred
• Strong knowledge of pharmacy laws, regulations, and sterile compounding procedures
• Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills

This contract role will continue until the facility successfully obtains its California pharmacy license. It offers a focused environment for pharmacists skilled in compounding and leadership to make a direct impact.
