Pharmacist in Charge in Rolla, KS

Located in Rolla, KS, this opportunity offers a key leadership role in a community retail pharmacy dispensing approximately 100–150 prescriptions daily. Utilizing Liberty pharmacy software, this 340B covered-entity pharmacy requires a qualified Pharmacist-In-Charge to oversee comprehensive pharmacy operations and ensure regulatory compliance within a supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the Pharmacist-In-Charge of record, managing daily pharmacy operations.
• Supervise pharmacists, PRN/contract pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, and support staff.
• Review and verify prescriptions, dispense medications, and provide patient counseling.
• Ensure compliance with Kansas Board of Pharmacy, DEA, FDA, controlled-substance, HIPAA, and other applicable regulations.
• Oversee 340B program operations, including compliance, inventory management, pricing, and reimbursement.
• Manage controlled-substance records, wholesalers, PSAO/PBM partnerships, and 340B split-billing workflows.
• Maintain pharmacy policies, procedures, quality standards, and audit readiness.

Qualifications:

• PharmD or Bachelor of Pharmacy from an ACPE-accredited program.
• Active, unrestricted Kansas Pharmacist license.
• Eligibility to serve as Pharmacist-In-Charge in Kansas.
• 1–2 years of retail or community pharmacy experience preferred.
• Prior PIC, supervisory, or leadership experience preferred but not required.
• Experience with 340B program preferred but not required.
• Willingness to obtain Oklahoma licensure/registration for applicable cross-border dispensing.
• BLS/AED certification upon hire or ability to obtain within 60 days.
