Travel/Interim Pharmacist In Charge (PIC) opportunity is available for an immediate start in Northern CA. This contract role spans approximately 12 to 13 weeks, offering a dynamic schedule with variable shifts to accommodate pharmacy demands.

Location:  Chico, California

This contract assignment provides the chance to lead pharmacy operations in a vibrant community, applying your expertise to ensure optimal service and compliance. Candidates who thrive in adaptable environments and possess strong leadership qualities are encouraged to apply.

Schedule:  Variable schedule, including rotating weekends. Pharmacy operates 7-days/week.

Setting:  Community/Retail

Key Responsibilities include:

• Overseeing daily pharmacy operations to ensure compliance with federal and state regulations.
• Managing staff performance and workflow to maintain efficient and accurate prescription dispensing.
• Ensuring proper inventory management and loss prevention controls.
• Collaborating with healthcare providers and customers to address medication-related inquiries.
• Maintaining pharmacy records and reports in accordance with legal requirements.
• Implementing quality assurance protocols to enhance patient safety.

Desired Qualifications:

• Valid pharmacist license in good standing.
• Proven experience as a Pharmacist in Charge, Pharmacy Manager, or in a retail pharmacy setting.
• In-depth knowledge of pharmacy laws, regulations, and best practices.
• Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage a team effectively.
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving capabilities.

Compensation:  Competitive; DOE
