Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) - Saint Augustine, Florida

Take on a vital leadership role as a Pharmacist-in-Charge at a 50-bed rehabilitation hospital. This contract opportunity requires a dedicated pharmacist willing to fulfill Interim PIC/Director of Pharmacy responsibilities, ensuring smooth pharmacy operations in a hospital setting.

Responsibilities include:

• Overseeing order verification processes to maintain accuracy and compliance
• Supervising and coordinating pharmacy technicians to optimize workflow
• Collaborating with nurses, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to support patient care
• Managing pharmacy inventory and regulatory requirements as needed

Ideal candidates will possess:

• A valid Florida pharmacist license
• Previous hospital pharmacy experience, preferably in acute care or rehabilitation settings
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Willingness to take on Pharmacist-in-Charge duties and interim Director of Pharmacy responsibilities

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday, daytime shifts
