Pharmacist in Charge in Saint Charles, MO

An interim Pharmacist in Charge opportunity is available at an inpatient behavioral health facility in St. Charles, MO. This contract role is intended to cover approximately four weeks until a permanent pharmacist is hired. The schedule is Monday through Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. with a 30-minute unpaid meal break.

Key responsibilities include overseeing pharmacy operations with a focus on behavioral health needs, managing medication dispensing, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. The ideal candidate will have experience with repackaging medications using systems like Milt, Medi-dose, or HCL, as well as familiarity with Omnicell. Basic skills in loading medications into automated machines and running restock reports are highly valued.

Qualified candidates will possess:

• A valid Missouri pharmacist license
• Experience functioning as a Pharmacist in Charge preferred
• Omnicell automation system experience
• Knowledge of medication repackaging processes
• Ability to manage inventory and restocking procedures
