Pharmacist in Charge in Saint Louis, MO

An immediate opportunity is available for an Interim Pharmacist in Charge at an inpatient behavioral health facility in St Charles, MO. This contract role is vital for maintaining seamless pharmacy operations during the transition to a permanent hire, with an expected duration of approximately four weeks.

Responsibilities include overseeing pharmacy activities to ensure compliance with standards and regulations, managing medication repackaging processes, and handling automated dispensing systems. The role also requires running restock reports and ensuring accurate inventory management to support the facility's patient care needs.

Key Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid Missouri Pharmacist license
• Experience with Omnicell automated dispensing systems preferred
• Familiarity with repackaging medications using Milt, Medi-dose, or HCL systems is highly desirable
• Working knowledge of loading drugs into automated machines and generating restock reports
• Strong organizational and leadership skills suitable for a Pharmacist in Charge position

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday
• 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM with a 30-minute unpaid meal break
