A healthcare facility in St. Charles, MO, is seeking an Interim Pharmacist in Charge to oversee inpatient behavioral health pharmacy operations for approximately four weeks until a permanent hire is made. This contract position requires immediate availability and offers a Monday through Friday schedule from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., including a 30-minute unpaid meal break.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage pharmacy operations and ensure compliance with regulations within an inpatient behavioral health setting
• Oversee medication repackaging and inventory management
• Load drugs into automated dispensing systems and run restock reports
• Provide leadership and support to pharmacy staff during the interim period

Qualifications:

• Active Missouri Pharmacist License required
• Experience with Omnicell automated dispensing systems preferred
• Familiarity with repackaging using Milt, Medi-dose, or HCL systems is highly desirable
• Basic knowledge of automated drug loading and inventory restocking processes
