A specialized opportunity is available for a Pharmacist in Charge at a compounding pharmacy located in Tampa, FL. This contract role requires a licensed pharmacist to serve as the Temporary Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) while the facility is in the process of obtaining its California license.

Location:

• Tampa, FL (5710 Hoover Blvd)

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday
• 10:30 AM to 7:00 PM

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the Pharmacist in Charge, overseeing daily pharmacy operations and regulatory compliance
• Perform sterile compounding duties, ensuring accuracy and adherence to safety protocols
• Manage and coordinate pharmacy staff and workflows to maintain high standards of pharmaceutical care
• Ensure the pharmacy complies with state and federal regulations during the licensing transition period

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

• Active Florida and California pharmacist licenses (CA license essential for this role)
• A minimum of 1 year of recent experience in sterile compounding pharmacy practice
• Strong knowledge of compounding regulations and best practices
