Pharmacist in Charge in Saint Petersburg, FL

A part-time Pharmacist in Charge position is available for a 13-week assignment in Clearwater, Florida, starting ASAP. This role offers flexible schedule options during the first shift, with day or mid-shift availability to accommodate your preferences. You will be responsible for verifying prescriptions and handling inbound calls from patients and physician offices concerning medications at a high-volume pharmacy processing between 1,000 to 1,500 prescriptions daily.

Location: Clearwater, Florida
Assignment Duration: 13 weeks
Schedule:

• Part-time, approximately 20-24 hours per week
• 1st shift with flexibility on day or mid-shift hours

Key Responsibilities:

• Verify prescriptions accurately and efficiently
• Manage inbound calls from patients and healthcare providers regarding medication-related inquiries
• Ensure compliance with pharmacy policies and regulatory requirements

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Clear and active Pharmacist licenses in both Florida and California
• Minimum of 1 year pharmacy experience, preferably in a retail or high-volume setting
• Familiarity with DRx pharmacy management software is preferred
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare professionals
