Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) | Saint Petersburg, Florida

A part-time Pharmacist in Charge position is available for a 13-week assignment in Clearwater, Florida, starting as soon as possible. This role offers flexible scheduling options, primarily on the first shift, with the potential to accommodate day or midshift preferences. You will be responsible for overseeing a high-volume pharmacy handling 1,000 to 1,500 prescriptions daily, using DRx software.

Responsibilities:

• Verify prescriptions accurately and efficiently to ensure patient safety
• Manage inbound calls from patients and physician offices regarding medications
• Maintain compliance with pharmacy regulations and standards

Qualifications and Experience:

• Active and clear Pharmacist licenses in Florida and California
• Minimum of one year’s experience as a pharmacist
• Strong communication skills for patient and provider interactions
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment

Schedule/Hours:

• Part-time, approximately 20-24 hours per week
• Primarily 1st shift, flexible to days or midshift based on candidate availability
