A growing closed-door 503A non-sterile compounding mail-order pharmacy in Salt Lake City is looking for a strong Pharmacist-in-Charge (PIC) to help lead the operation into its next stage of growth. This is a direct-hire leadership opportunity for someone who is organized, positive, and excited about helping build and scale a rapidly expanding pharmacy operation.

Position Details

• Position: Pharmacist-in-Charge (PIC)
• Location: Salt Lake City, UT
• Placement: Direct Hire
• Start: ASAP
• Salary: $135,000–$150,000+ (depending on experience)
• Higher compensation possible with additional state licenses
• Current Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7 AM–3 PM
• Current Volume: Approximately 1,000 prescriptions/day
• System: PioneerRx
• Setting: Closed-door 503A non-sterile compounding mail order
• Primary Medications: Peptides and GLP-1s

Multi-State Licensure

The following licenses are preferred:

The Growth Opportunity

A new 7,000 sq. ft. facility is expected to open in October/November and will expand into sterile compounding.

The new operation is designed to eventually scale to approximately 10,000 prescriptions/day, with plans to grow the team.

This is an opportunity to join the operation at the beginning of a major growth phase and have a meaningful role in building the team and culture.

What We're Looking For

• Experienced Pharmacist with strong leadership capabilities
• Multi-state pharmacist licensure
• Compounding/mail-order pharmacy experience strongly preferred
• Ability to lead a growing pharmacy operation
• Highly organized and able to manage growth effectively
• Positive leadership style
• Someone who creates a strong team culture and makes those around them better
• Comfortable working in a fast-growing environment

Relocation / Remote Flexibility

Relocation assistance is available.

A remote PIC arrangement may also be considered. You would need to:

• Complete 4–6 weeks of training in Salt Lake City
• Return to the facility monthly after training
• Maintain strong oversight of the operation remotely
