This position offers a leadership opportunity for a pharmacist skilled in managing operations within a long-term care (LTC) pharmacy setting. The role emphasizes compliance with LTC regulations and collaboration with healthcare teams to optimize medication management for nursing facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure pharmacy operations comply with LTC regulations, including CMS, DEA, and Texas state board guidelines.
  • Oversee medication dispensing processes using eMAR systems, cycle fills, and medication carts.
  • Manage workflows within closed-door LTC pharmacy environments effectively.
  • Collaborate with consultant pharmacists and interdisciplinary teams to address patient care needs.

Essential Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree.
  • Active Texas Registered Pharmacist license.
  • Proven expertise in LTC regulations and pharmacy operations.
  • Experience with LTC pharmacy systems such as PrimeCare, DocuTrack, TCGRx, and Parata.
  • Background in long-term care or closed-door pharmacy environments strongly preferred.
  • Familiarity with consultant pharmacist collaboration and strong interdisciplinary communication skills.

Benefits and Compensation:

  • Annual salary range of $135,000 – $150,000, commensurate with experience.
