Pharmacist-In-Charge with HIV/AIDS Specialty Focus
An opportunity is available to lead pharmacy operations as the Pharmacist-In-Charge (PIC) in a dynamic environment dedicated to serving vulnerable patient populations. This role demands a clinical pharmacist passionate about enhancing patient care through innovative systems and collaborative teamwork.
Location & Schedule:
- Based in San Francisco, CA
- Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all pharmacy operations in compliance with Board of Pharmacy regulations as the designated PIC.
- Foster and uphold the organization’s Core Values and Mission to ensure patient and staff experience excellence.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement innovative clinical services.
- Provide leadership within a structure where accountability is shared among multiple leaders, ensuring consistent application of policies and best practices.
- Participate in internal and external meetings, including training sessions and conferences, to stay at the forefront of pharmacy practice.
- Support a nimble and adaptive workplace culture that prioritizes continuous improvement and patient-centered care.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Minimum 3-5 years of recent retail or specialty pharmacy management experience; 10+ years highly preferred.
- Strong foundational knowledge of HIV/AIDS medications; willingness to expand expertise through specialized training.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to work effectively across diverse cultures and lifestyles.
- Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced pharmacy environment.
- Experience limited to hospital-only settings will not be considered.
