An opportunity is available for a dedicated Pharmacist-In-Charge (PIC) specializing in HIV/AIDS medications within a progressive pharmacy setting. This role involves overseeing pharmacy operations in compliance with Board of Pharmacy requirements while actively contributing clinical expertise to enhance patient care and service innovation. The position fosters a collaborative work environment focused on continuous improvement and the delivery of cutting-edge services for a vulnerable patient population.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of retail or specialty pharmacy management experience; 10 years preferred
  • Established foundation in HIV/AIDS medications; training to deepen expertise provided
  • Proven leadership and communication skills with the ability to engage diverse cultures and lifestyles
  • Experience working within fast-paced retail or specialty pharmacy settings; hospital-only backgrounds are not applicable
  • Commitment to upholding pharmacy core values and mission in daily responsibilities

Location: San Francisco, CA

Schedule/Hours:

  • Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the Pharmacist-In-Charge, ensuring regulatory compliance and operational excellence
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement innovative clinical services and best practices
  • Foster a nimble, patient-centered approach in a dynamic organizational structure with shared leadership accountability
  • Participate in internal and external meetings, trainings, and conferences to promote continuous professional development and networking
  • Champion organizational mission to serve vulnerable populations and enhance patient outcomes
