Per Diem Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) - San Luis Obispo, California

This Per Diem Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) position offers the opportunity to support a mail order medical equipment environment for a 4 to 8-week period. The role requires a licensed California pharmacist to serve as PIC until the permanent PIC is fully licensed in California. Though the work is minimal, the candidate must hold an active California pharmacy license and be able to work remotely with the ability to go onsite as needed, requiring proximity to the facility.

Location:

• San Luis Obispo, CA (remote with local availability for onsite visits)

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday, daytime hours
• Guaranteed minimum of 11 hours per week

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) in compliance with California regulations
• Oversee pharmacy operations to ensure adherence to licensure requirements
• Provide remote support and be available for occasional on-site visits if necessary
• Maintain communication with facility staff and regulatory bodies as required

Qualifications and Experience:

• Current California pharmacist license (required)

Compensation:

• $70 per hour
