This role is for an experienced Pharmacist-In-Charge (PIC) specializing in HIV/AIDS pharmacotherapy to lead pharmacy operations within a forward-thinking healthcare environment. As PIC, you will uphold Board of Pharmacy requirements and ensure adherence to pharmacy core values while enhancing services that improve patient lives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily pharmacy operations as the Pharmacist-In-Charge
- Collaborate across teams to develop and implement innovative clinical services
- Maintain consistent application of policies, procedures, and best practices throughout the organization
- Participate in internal and external meetings, conferences, and training programs
- Support a collaborative culture where staff are accountable to multiple leaders
- Adapt to a dynamic work environment focused on excellence in patient experience and employee workplace satisfaction
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Minimum 3-5 years of recent retail or specialty pharmacy management experience (10+ years preferred)
- Strong foundation in HIV/AIDS medications with eagerness to grow into an expert role
- Proven leadership and communication skills managing diverse teams and working with varied cultures and lifestyles
- Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced pharmacy setting
- Experience beyond hospital-only pharmacy roles strongly desired
Schedule and Location:
- Location: San Mateo, CA
- Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM
