Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) - San Tan Valley, Arizona

An opportunity is available for an experienced Pharmacist-in-Charge (PIC) to lead operations within a growing non-sterile compounding mail-order pharmacy. This direct hire role offers the chance to be a hands-on leader responsible for both dispensing and managing pharmacy functions while ensuring full regulatory compliance.

Location Options:

• Gilbert, AZ
• West Egg Township / Galloway, NJ

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• Potential for occasional weekend coverage as the pharmacy expands

Key Responsibilities:

• Dispense prescriptions accurately while providing excellent patient counseling
• Supervise pharmacy staff and maintain compliance with SOPs, USP standards, FDA 503A, and other regulations
• Manage inventory, controlled substances, and proper documentation
• Address patient inquiries, ensuring outstanding customer service
• Oversee regulatory adherence within relevant states

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Licensed Pharmacist in AZ or NJ corresponding to work location
• 3 to 5 years of pharmacy experience, preferably including mail-order, outpatient, community, or compounding settings
• Prior PIC or pharmacy management experience is highly preferred
• Strong understanding of state and federal regulations governing 503A facilities
• West Coast licenses such as CA, NM, TX, NV, UT, OR, WA, or CO are highly valued to support national expansion
• Familiarity with PioneerRx pharmacy software is a plus (training available)

Compensation ranges approximately $145,000 to $156,000 annually, depending on experience.
