Per Diem Pharmacist in Charge - Santa Maria, CA

A unique opportunity is available for an experienced Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) to provide essential leadership and oversight for a mail order medical equipment pharmacy. This per diem role, based near Santa Maria, CA, offers flexibility with primarily remote work, while requiring proximity to the facility for occasional onsite visits.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the California-licensed Pharmacist in Charge, ensuring pharmacy operations comply with all state regulations.
• Provide oversight and accountability as required, maintaining high standards of pharmacy practice.
• Collaborate with the team remotely, with occasional visits to the facility as needed.
• Support the transition as the permanent PIC obtains California licensure.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid California pharmacist license is mandatory.
• Previous experience serving as a Pharmacist in Charge.
• Ability to work independently in a remote capacity while staying accessible for onsite responsibilities.
• Strong knowledge of regulatory compliance for pharmacy operations.

Schedule:

• Per diem position with a guaranteed minimum of 11 hours per week.
• Monday through Friday, daytime hours.
• Remote work is permitted; candidate must live locally to facilitate onsite visits if required.
