Pharmacist in Charge in Shasta Lake, CA

An opportunity is available for an experienced Pharmacist in Charge to lead operations in a community center pharmacy. This contract position requires managing pharmacy functions, supervising technicians, and collaborating closely with healthcare providers to ensure seamless pharmaceutical care.

Location: Shasta Lake, CA
Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM

Start Date: ASAP, with a full-time commitment beginning 6/29
Duration: 6 to 8 weeks or until a permanent placement is secured

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as Interim Pharmacist in Charge, overseeing all pharmacy operations within the community center
• Supervise and support pharmacy technicians, ensuring regulatory compliance and operational efficiency
• Collaborate directly with center healthcare providers to coordinate patient medication management
• Utilize New Leaf pharmacy system; training will be provided to those unfamiliar with the platform

Desired Experience:

• Recent experience working in retail pharmacy settings
• Proven ability to manage pharmacy staff and workflows effectively
• Comfortable working in a community-based environment with interdisciplinary teams
