Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) | Shasta Lake, California

Step into a pivotal leadership role as an Interim Pharmacist in Charge overseeing a community center pharmacy. This full-time, contract position offers the opportunity to manage pharmacy operations, supervise pharmacy technicians, and collaborate closely with healthcare providers to ensure seamless patient care.

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the Interim Pharmacist in Charge, managing daily pharmacy operations at the community center.
• Supervise and support pharmacy technicians to maintain efficient workflow.
• Collaborate directly with center providers to optimize patient medication management.
• Ensure compliance with state and federal pharmacy regulations.
• Utilize the New Leaf pharmacy system, with training provided for those unfamiliar.

• Recent experience in a retail pharmacy setting, demonstrating strong operational knowledge.
• Leadership abilities in supervising pharmacy staff.

This contract role starts as soon as possible with a full-time schedule beginning June 29 and extends for 6 to 8 weeks or until a permanent pharmacist is placed.
