Step into a leadership role overseeing a community center pharmacy as the Interim Pharmacist in Charge. This contract position offers an opportunity to manage pharmacy operations, supervise pharmacy technicians, and collaborate with healthcare providers in a supportive environment.

Location:

  • Shasta Lake, CA

Schedule:

  • Monday through Friday
  • 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the Interim Pharmacist in Charge, ensuring pharmacy compliance and smooth daily operations
  • Supervise and support pharmacy technicians to maintain efficient workflow
  • Collaborate closely with healthcare providers at the community center to optimize patient care
  • Utilize the New Leaf pharmacy system; training will be provided for those new to the platform

Qualifications:

  • Recent retail pharmacy experience required, demonstrating strong knowledge of community pharmacy practices
  • Leadership skills suitable for managing a team and pharmacy responsibilities effectively
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team

Additional Details:

  • Position starts ASAP, with a full-time commitment beginning June 29
  • Contract duration is approximately 6 to 8 weeks, with potential extension until a permanent placement is made
  • Strong pharmacy technician support is available to assist you
