An urgent opening is available for an Interim Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) to oversee operations at a community pharmacy located in Shasta Lake, CA. This full-time contract role starts ASAP, with training scheduled for mid to late next week and a commitment beginning June 29. The assignment is expected to last 6-8 weeks or until a permanent PIC is placed.

Location:

  • Shasta Lake, CA

Schedule:

  • Monday through Friday
  • 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the Interim Pharmacist in Charge for a community center pharmacy
  • Supervise pharmacy technicians and ensure efficient workflow
  • Collaborate closely with center providers to support pharmacy operations
  • Uphold compliance with pharmacy laws and regulations
  • Utilize New Leaf pharmacy system; training available if needed

Qualifications / Desired Experience:

  • Recent retail pharmacy experience is required
  • Demonstrated leadership in a pharmacy environment
  • Ability to effectively supervise and mentor pharmacy technicians
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Open to learning and utilizing the New Leaf system
