Pharmacist in Charge - Sparks, NV

A rewarding opportunity is available to serve as an Interim Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) for a 6-8 week contract, beginning Monday, May 11. This role involves taking on full PIC responsibilities under the Nevada Board of Pharmacy and providing leadership and oversight within a well-supported pharmacy setting.

Location:

• Sparks, NV (coverage in Reno, NV)

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday: 10:00 AM – 6:30 PM
• Saturday: 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM

Key Responsibilities:

• Assume all PIC duties and comply with Nevada Board of Pharmacy regulations
• Provide leadership and direction to the pharmacy staff
• Ensure safe, accurate dispensing of medications and compliance with all pharmacy laws and policies
• Collaborate with an experienced technician team to maintain operational efficiency
• Manage inventory control and supervise pharmacy operations

Desired Experience & Qualifications:

• Licensed Pharmacist in Nevada with credentials to serve as a Pharmacist in Charge
• Proven ability to fulfill PIC responsibilities with strong knowledge of state pharmacy regulations
• Effective leadership and communication skills
• Experience working with technician teams in a retail pharmacy environment
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational capabilities
